I’m a producer, recording & mixing engineer living in Vancouver, BC and co-owner of Park Sound Studio.
After apprenticing on several projects under Grammy-nominated producer Tucker Martine, including The Decemberists’ The King is Dead (#1 US Billboard 200), Beth Orton’s Sugaring Season (#26 UK Albums Chart) and Black Prairie’s A Tear In The Eye Is A Wound In The Heart (#4 US Billboard Top Bluegrass Album), I fell in love with the West Coast and moved to Vancouver from Ontario.
In 2017, I opened Park Sound with bandmate in Echo Nebraska, Dan Ponich, after freelancing out of various studios around town such as Blue Light Studio, Rain City Recorders, Monarch Studios and The Hive.
From what bands have told me, I have a calming presence in the studio, am a creative filter for ideas, and a whiz in Pro Tools.
In addition to recording music, I love the marketing aspect of the music industry and enjoy helping acts I record figure out their marketing plan and release strategy.
